The 31st Baltic Olympiad in Informatics is taking place at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of Nicolaus Copernicus University, Toruń, Poland, on 24-29.04.2025.
The Baltic Olympiad in Informatics (BOI) is a prestigious programming competition for secondary school students. Established in 1995 with just three participating countries, it has grown significantly over the years. Today, BOI welcomes participants from 10 countries: Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Norway, Poland, and Sweden. Each country is invited to send up to six participants, while the host country typically fields two teams. Additionally, representatives from non-Baltic countries are often invited as guest participants.
The honorary patronage over this year’s Baltic Olympiad in Informatics was assumed by the Minister of Education and the Minister of Digital Affairs.
The gold partner of BOI 2025 is the Centre for Information Technology.
